Pros

Great Speeds particularly with 4G. I am able to get faster speeds sometimes than wifi when using in conjunction with my laptop or Nexus 7. Relatively easy to use.

Cons

Made me set a security password for my phone which I probably should have done anyway but I was getting by without.

Summary

I have used for a couple of years. There was a rough patch about a year ago where Google/Verizon prevented them from setting up as a wifi hotspot but that was corrected and it works great now. Very convenient to have a secure wifi hotspot when sitting in a restaurant with my tablet or in an airport with my laptop. My reason to hold on to my Verizon unlimited plan for life.

Pros

I still have unlimited data on my RAZR Maxx so I use it a lot rather than paying for data on my home line.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Simple to use. Love the SMS Agent!

Cons

Sometimes it can lock up your phone so it is not recognized by your computer.

Summary

This is overall a great product. It saved my behind when having to do homework from an area without wifi. Most cellular companies are just preventing you to tether your phone simply so they can make more money. Those little dongle thingys are EXPENSIVE!

All in all I find the price is beautiful, PLUS, when I switch to my new 4G Android product and ditch my 3G Android Phone, I'll be in HEAVEN!!!

EVERY TIME June Fabrics updates their software, you don't have to pay for the update... it's free!

Pros

Worked Great, saves me alot of money and is a great back up for internet connection. I also connected at 2.4 with pdanet.

Cons

Had to reinstall drivers from LG couple of times than everything smoothed out and worked fine.

Summary

Great program, well worth the price and almost perfect stability in programming. Thank you.

Pros

PDANet was very easy to install and get up and running. I had used Tether with my Blackberry and needed a tethering product to use with my HTC Droid Incredible. PDANet seems to perform perfectly.

Cons

Nothing really to do with PDANet, I just need to understand how to set up the VPN on the Droid.

Summary

Based on the cost of PDANet ($18,85 on special this week) it is extremely useful. I need access to my office via my laptop and cannot always find WiFi, hence the tethering with the PDA (Droid Incredible in this case) is important. So far PDANet has worked perfectly and without a hickup. It does require specific settings on the Android phone: Moble Internet needs to be enabled. Also, on installation, it sets itself up to load at bootup on the laptop. I found that I needed to take the app out of the Startup and load it as needed. This is the only caveat I have found.
