Great app but needs “Strikethrough” feature
I love this app as a real estate agent. I use it all the time, primarily on my iPad Pro, because I’m always on the go.
However, I wish it had a “strikethrough” feature like it does on the desktop version. Also, I wish you could resize the signature and initial prompt like you can on the desktop version.
One workaround I found for strikethrough is to make the strikethrough on Preview from Files on iOS. Then upload it from mobile Safari web version of DocuSign. Save and close. Then, open it on app. The strikethrough is there. Seems to work but wish it worked on app itself.
Spotty function and support
UPDATE: I received a reply from development. That’s a good sign. I am updating to four stars. It could benefit from a freehand option and a snail mail field. There is no multiple signer option when they’re all in the same room. Those would make a five star app.
I am testing DocuSign as an alternative to SignEasy, which I have used for years. There is no freehand option on DocuSign. When DocuSign works, it works well. However, the real problem began when I received an email with a pdf, and DocuSign failed to import it. When I contacted support it took an hour for them to tell me that that’s not how the app works (incorrect). If I had not been able to use SignEasy to sign the PDF, it would have been a serious problem for me. I need to be able to rely on a signing platform, and so far I can’t rely on DocuSign or SignEasy. This review seems to be the only way to alert DocuSign to the problem, as support was a waste of time.
Developer Response ,
Hi there, thank you for your feedback and for being a customer of DocuSign. It looks like you’re running on an old version of the DocuSign App. If you update to the latest version, {2.21.1}, it should solve the PDF problems you’re experiencing.
Please let me know if that solves your issue.
Good but cumbersome for some reason
Not sure why but I find it is frustrating as it’s not acting that well.
It’s downloading the document with distortions, spent tons of time to adjust the document for it to look right in the DocuSign. As soon as I needed to replace the document same thing happened with the next document.
The customer at time doesn’t receive the document, I’m trying to find out what is the issue and renter the email and there is no option for that. Trying to add as an additional email and can’t do they other.
The Sent folder keeps missing the envelop I sent twice from the moble app. Not even sure if went out to the customer. Confusing, given great reviews for the app.
The Moble version is even harder to work with, it lacks the functionality. Tried to use the website mode on my phone, it still tells me to use the computer. Not very practical dealing with customers on the go.
There is no option to cancel the additional signing request, but only voiding the entire document. Not helpful.
Can’t add the CC email while sending the template to the customer from the phone, another inconvenience.
Also the website is not that intuitive and there are no easy folders to sort documents for easy navigation. Still yet to understand why the folders are working the way they are working, if nothing gets sorted clearly. Frustrating.
Useful but frustrating.
Hope there is an answer for those issues.

How to Put a Handwritten Signature Into an iPad
With an Apple iPad, there's no need to print out copies of documents to sign with a pen; you can use the iPad's touchscreen display to add your signature directly to a document. There are apps available from the App Store, either free or at a nominal cost, that are designed specifically with signatures in mind. If you already have a drawing app loaded on your iPad, you can also use it to write your signature and then save it as an image file in the iPad's Camera Roll.
1
Download and install an app designed to record a signature from the iPad's App Store. My Signature and Autograph are two examples of apps designed specifically with signatures in mind. SIGNificant Signature Capture is designed for inserting signatures directly into documents, like contracts in PDF format.
2
Launch the app. If you are using My Signature or Autograph you can write your name as soon as the app opens. If you are using SIGNificant Signature Capture, open a document requiring your signature, like a contract document emailed to your iPad and then scroll to the place where you want to put your signature.
3
Write your signature on the iPad's screen. You can use your finger, though you may need to practice a few times if you aren't used to signing your name this way. A stylus designed for touchscreen displays should give you a signature more like your everyday signature, since you can hold the stylus as you would a pen.
4
Copy the signature to the iPad's clipboard to paste it into another app or an email. You can also save the signature for later use or export it via email or a cloud service like DropBox.
1
Launch a drawing app like Paper by Bamboo, Paper by FiftyThree or Procreate.
2
Write your signature on the iPad's screen using your finger or a touchscreen stylus.
3
Save the image as a JPG, or copy the drawing to your iPad's clipboard so you can insert it in a document, email message or other place where you need to use your signature. Images saved from drawing apps are stored in the camera roll in the Photos app.
