Instructions to apply.
Update using the V1.08 GAME.EXE by connecting to Battle.net.  Then replace V1.09 GAME.EXE with the one included in the zip file.  Click HERE to download NO CD Crack LOD V1.09.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction Patch 1.09 Now Available
Simply connect to Battle.net to download the patch. For more information on the Patch go HERE.  

Everyone with the NO_CD Crack will need to replace the NO_CD Crack with a original V1.08 GAME.EXE before going to Battle.net. Click HERE to download original V1.08 GAME.EXE. 

Lots & Lots of bug and game play changes. Highlights follow

• Reduced damage of additional levels of Firewall starting from level 9. 
• Changed Telekinesis to only work on scrolls, potions, keys, gold, arrows and bolts. 
• The mouse-over functionality of hireling portraits has been changed. You now must keep your mouse cursor over your hireling for three seconds before the portrait highlights and the text "Drop potion on hireling portrait, right-click to open inventory" appears. 
• Gold sharing has returned to it's functionality before patch 1.08. 
• Raised maximum price vendors will pay for an item to 30,000 gold pieces in nightmare difficulty, and 35,000 gold pieces in hell difficulty. 
• Using a potion from the belt (either by hotkey or right-clicking) while holding down the shift key will give the potion to the player's hireling if he/she has one. 
• It is now possible (albeit very rare) to get Set and Unique items from gambling.
• Enabled certain Horadric Cube recipes that were disabled in v1.08. 
• The Shae, Po, and Jo runes have been renamed. They are now the Shael, Io, and Jah runes respectively
• Reduced chances of elemental damage affixes spawning on Charms.
• Color coded monsters' elemental/physical immunity info display. (For example, Fire Immune is printed in red). 
• Removed global Physical Resistance from Nightmare difficulty games.
• Swapped properties for Jah and Cham runes in weapons. 
• Rare Jewels are now capped at a maximum of four affixes.

No-CD Instructions [Expansion CD]: 
Install the game - Multiplayer Installation. 
Install the Lord of Destruction Expansion CD. 
Apply the official Diablo 2 LOD v1.08 Patch. 
Copy GAME.EXE files from the Patch Archive to the game directory. 
Insert the Expansion CD into the CD-ROM. 
Copy the following files from Expansion CD to the game directory: 
         D2XVIDEO.MPQ 
         D2XMUSIC.MPQ 
Remove Expansion CD from the CD-ROM. 
Start Game without any CD.

Taking place on the world of Sanctuary, a realm created in the Eternal Conflict between Angels and Demons, a party of adventurers seek to stop the spreading evil that seems to follow a dark wanderer. They soon find themselves hunting the Prime Evils, in a quest that will test their resolve.

Bayley - Paladin serving in the Knights of Westmarch. She acts as the groups protector, utilising healing spells.

Becky - Barbarian from Mount Arreat. Wields twin flaming axes, and makes a lot of puns (what else would you expect from her?)

Charlotte - Amazon from the Skovos Isles. Wields a spear, using a combination of physical strength and athleticism to attack her foes.

Sasha - Sorceress of the Zann Esu Mage clan. Fresh out of training, she's eager to prove herself, sometimes to the point of recklessness. Lightning-based, appropriate for her risk-taking nature.
