Pros

I found all pro's with it, it does the job and does it well and I have never had a problem with it. Among the best software made. I think anyone with wisdom in computers would agree with this. It has never downloaded a bad driver on me.

Cons

NONE at this time.

Summary

All in all Iobit makes very good software and it all does what it is suppose to do. I do not think anyone would be unhappy with this or any of their software. Now to those who know little about computers, take your time, ask for help as their software at Iobit is good and their tech support is among the best. I am sure you would be pleased.

Pros

I do not need any driver CD/DVD discs for any system or device That makes it much easier for me!

Cons

It makes me lazy and I lose some of my qualities,I become dependent on Driver Booster 5

Pros

Is easy to use, but see below.

Cons

Both times that I used Driver Booster 5, on two different machines, it caused problems. On one, the computer would randomely blue screen. On the other, the computer would no longer shut down. If you're going to try it, do a complete backup first.

Pros

Just need 1-click, this program will auto download all correct drivers for your computer, on some old pc, you need to first install the network adapter, let the pc can access the internet, then it can auto find other hardware drivers. If you do not have the network driver software, you can first install a universal network card driver (search from google).

Cons

It is better if it has a built-in universal network card driver.

Pros

None, since it messed up my computer.

Cons

Driver Booster 5 indicated that my drivers were extremely old, even though the system, Windows 7, was running well. I elected to have all the drivers updated. After the update was finished, the computer became unstable, crashing at random every few minutes. Fortunately, I was able to use windows system restore to get back to a stable system.

It messed up my PC, I would not know a "pro" of messing up my PC.

Cons

- installs the wrong driver
- intrusive
- constant upsell annoyance

Summary

So ... stupid me even purchased the paid version.

This shitty program installed the wrong driver causing my PC to randomly shut off.

To run it, I had to turn off Malwarebytes which (rightfully) deletes it as "PUP".

It took me hours to come to the conclusion that this program and not a hardware defect is the reason for my sudden trouble.

The amazing thing is: It installed an OLDER driver.

While it makes sense to update your drivers, it does not make sense to use this dangerous program.

You are warned: Go to your manufacturer or Windows Update.

Pros

Seems pretty good at keeping drivers up to date with minimal effort.

Cons

The program is always trying to sell you the pro version of driver booster, and is always trying to get you started on other Iobit programs. This is understandable since the Iobit people have to make some income, but if you are just interested in just running the free driver booster program, you have to be careful not click on links in that program that will end up downloading additional Iobit programs.

Summary

A very handy, useful program. Need to be careful not to inadvertently download additional programs when using it.

Fast, efficient, clean and intuitive UI

Cons

None at all.

Summary

Really great application for automatically updating your drivers - I had a few 'issue' drivers that would NOT allow me to update or amend them manually via Device Manager after installing a new mobo. Driver Booster fixed literally all of them (and even let me know I had a few ultra-old drivers for other things sitting there). Awesome product, 10/10. Would strongly recommend to anyone.
