Notify me threats found. And I blocked the threats successfully. Iobit Malware Fighter really helped me. I will continue run it. I feel safer with it. Thanks.

Cons

Not any. But it would be better if there are more scan choices.

Pros

As a local houston it tech i work on local computers here, residential and businesses. I clean a lot of malware fix computers with bugs as my bread and butter. So i've tried a lot of programs and i see a lot of malicious programming. i also frequently research programs and companies.
MF can clean some stuff!
The ransomware protection engine performs well, & in theory its Pro engine should do well too, its licensed from Bitdefender, a highly rated company. the free version only used IOBIT's own antivirus engine which isn't saying much. this could be a con actually
Clean new interface thats somewhat simple and easy to navigate thru.

Cons

Never fully clean malware in my experience and the program does alright to horribly when i research hands on tech testing results. There's No test results from independent labs so i checked PCMAG & found few testing results & MF received mediocre to poor scores in testing. We've had simultaneously identified malware samples as malicious & safe. what!?
IOBIT programs download spigot stuff and for regular computer tech guys like me we do nothing but delete and clean "Conduit" & "Spigot" stuff all day. Their programming crashes and slows down systems and is a pain to get rid of. its malware in my opinion and the tech buddies i know.

Summary

None of the labs test malware fighter, and just because Bitdefender is good doesn't mean everyone using their engine does well, as well. Free version doesn't use this.
So i looked up hands on test from tech guys. So i'll share results with you guys:
When u pay, you have to turn on the bitdefender in the settings not turned on by default.
During the initial scan, the tester wasn't sure if it was working, and it took over 10minutes, and caught only 79% of loaded malware on the computer.
Full system scan was slow, the average is 45 minutes but techs reported 2hour scan with MF.
Tech loaded malware hosting urls in the browser, ya know malware websites, and Malware Fighter only deterred or blocked 1 dangerous website. the others were allowed to load. then malicious program downloaded while malware fighter took well over 10seconds to check them. MF ended up blocking 79% of downloads.
Some malicious files rang up Safe and Not Safe here.

Anti-phishing alerts on bad webpages were scarce, and many anti-phising alerts were not alerted on webpage but in a pop up threat box in the corner of screen, with a detection rating of 76%
Ransomware detection was good enough but somewhat confusing. The system protects your files from being scanned and encrypted by ransomware, but you can block and alert and tell MF to remember to clock this type of program, but sometimes you'll need to click that every single file.

I tested it in my old pc, it work fine, and the pc running fast then before.

Unbelievably hard to uninstall, tried the IOBit uninstaller nothing just hangs, tried Windows uninstaller same problem, tried through CCleaner same thing, in the end had to start in Safe Mode to uninstall it, then run the registry cleaner in CCleaner to remove leftovers.

Summary

After this effort i was starting to get worried it had done something to my computer, thankfully it hadn't, won't recommend it to anyone.

Tech support stayed on a update problem until it was fixed. Great work.

There are no cons.

Summary

After receiving errors on updating, I contacted tech support and they resolved the issue in no time. I wish all tech support was this good.

Pros

I`ve come across a few bad websites and Right away Iobit Malware Fighter Instantly Blocked and warned me of the website being suspicious. Its an Awesome program to Stop Any kind of Malware. It saved me from who knows what if it didn`t catch the bad website.

Cons

None, Not yet anyway, But with All Iobit Programs that I use, I highly doubt they`ll be any Cons. All their Programs work 100% Perfect and keep my Laptop in tip top shape.

Summary

Thank You Iobit. I truly believe that You guys build the Best Programs there is.

Very nice User Interface. It's AIO security program now. Worth it along with all IObit programs. I have used ASC Pro for seven years. IObit Driver Booster for a year and now Malware Figher.

PS All the garbarge on the Internet about IObit (IMHO) is baloney. I replaced MBAM because of the nonsense that is taking place between MBAM and legit Windnows Utility programs.

quick install and seems lightweight but....

full of fake bad reviews, the 4 star is from non techies that don't know what this is doing or NOT doing. have checked actual tech sites that have tried this program and its horrible at catching and cleaning most malware infections. please use avira or avast if you need free malware protection. also, part of advanced system care multi-program download system where IOBit will download about 10 programs like driver updater, uninstaller, advanced system care, etc etc onto your computer and have all these running in background taking up CPU and RAM space which is not that nice if you have a slower PC.
But IOBIT Malware Fighter is basically useless.

Summary

upon researching this program's usefulness and finding actual testing scores & reviews from a few professional companies and tech sites, this is horrible app or program for protection and cleaning malware/virus pups etc. just doesn't catch em. better off installing avira or avast and manually running ADW Cleaner and/or Malwarebytes once a week.
as an i.t. guy myself i've had several customers that i had used Advanced System Care and about a month later they have Malware Fighter on their computers and 10 other iobit programs. then some of them have malware. obviously malware fighter was unwelcomed, none of my customers knew it was being installed cuz of advanced system cares and IOBit's updating system for their programs where they install 5-10apps when you update a program. Not only this, but when the customers had malware infections again, obviously IOBIT Malware Fighter did nothing to protect or clean their computers. Malwarebytes, ADWCleaner, Panda Cloud Cleaner, etc. was able to catch and clean the computer. Malware Fighter essentially did nothign. I feel the previous 4 star reviewers are just not aware of what Malware Fighter is or is not doing. I don't think it harms your computer but on the protection and cleaning side its a 1 of 5 star basically useless, especially if it will install 10 more programs to clog your background processes and possibly slow down your computer.

Never found a single file

Summary

I paid for the pro version and ran it after I surfed the web for a bit.
It came up empty. So I ran the FREE Super Antispyware and it found over 100 spy ware files. I did this for a week every day and it was the same results.
Don't waste your money and time.
