Injustice: Gods Among Us – It is a fighting game over superheroes from the DC Comics universe, created by NetherRealm (Mortal Kombat) and distributed by Warner Bros.

According to the plot, Superman from the alternative universe went crazy and destroyed most of the good heroes, which is why the remaining bunch decided to call for the help of heroes from our reality, instead of the destroyed ones.

By the way, the plot takes place in just a few hours, so the multiplayer still has great appeal. The return of one of the most adrenaline fighting games with updated graphics. The plot of the game is quite simple: an evil corporation rules almost the whole world, replacing the government. When a spacecraft crashes to Earth, the corporation rakes it into its own hands, creates genetically modernized soldiers and organizes a Killer Instinct tournament to test their abilities. The plot is vaguely reminiscent of the first parts of Mortal Kombat – this is not surprising, because the “parents” of MK from the Midway company were engaged in the development.

One of the features of Killer Instinct is heavy music in the background, which makes combo beats and finishes unrealistically epic, and sometimes makes neighbors fidgety if you play without headphones. As in any fighting game, there is a guest star – Rash from Battletoads, who masterfully distributes cuffs with his increasing limbs.

I have very mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand, it has a really good game concept, and the mechanics and weapons are superb. On the other hand, the game crashes a lot, the bosses are super OP, you have to grind a ton, and the premium currency (gems) are integrated very poorly. I feel like this game got a lot of things right, but an equal amount of things wrong. The story isn’t really important to the game at all, and it certainly wasn’t keeping me on the edge of my seat during my hours of survival grinding. I have not spend a dime on this game, and because of that, I can’t have any of the best weapons, magic and armor. This part of the game should definately be fixed, and it detracts from the overall experience. I have not had as much of an issue with the game crashing as some other people, but it certainly happens, and especially at the later phases of the game (i.e. Wasp, Widow etc). Overall, this game is pretty solid, but has room for improvement.
